I'd appreciate suggestions on how, and if, to respond to this. The IBAN Jim gave does validate with respect to its checksum & length, but not for local bank account details.

Maybe it was an account Jim held years ago with a small regional bank, now closed, that was swallowed up by a larger institution. The old accounts were migrated, with the same IBANs, to the new owner, and that somehow explains why the bank name can't be identified.

Or, maybe Jim's IBAN doesn't actually correspond to a bank. It's an investment vehicle, created by Jim's financial advisor, holding a mix of options and futures. Payments can be made to it however.

Any other ideas?

Sorry but you are starting to confuse me. Please bear in mind that I'm 79 years old and some of these ways of shopping that younger generations use are a mystery to me. Why do you need gift cards? I can't imagine what the united nations would be doing with them. If there is some natural disaster, an earthquake say, do the UN workers go around handing them out?

Plus you never answered my question. Is there some settingable in my email that causes so many of your messages to land on the spam folder? Or is it carelessness on your part? I'm hoping you can help me make whatever corrections are needed. Probably I wouldn't do it myself, it's something I'd ask my daughter to do for me when I next see her.

Anyway, it's too early to think about getting the payment to you some other way. I need to collect it back from the money gramme first. Hopefully I'll be able to get back there on Monday. If not, certainly Tuesday, but it's very inconvenient.

Well the gift card can be accepted by the agent and gives us the money for easy and fast than money gram and Western Union all you needs is to obtain it and send it with the receipt of purchase, and make sure is bold.

And this will reduce your stress in your part and fast on this transaction.

So I need you to try and obtain £500 or less then deduct it out of it , I want to prove it to you that it will be received successfully with any issues .

Ok. But what is wrong about my email that makes it do that? It needs to be changed. I think it's g mail that I use although my daughter set it up.
