Well, I've sent the money but neither you or Mr Butts have collected it. But the money gramme says you have. This is very confusing. Do you think Mr Butts is right and the hacker has stepped in? Where would he make that step? On your computer or my computer or at the money gramme bureau?

Has your investigation department come up with anything yet?

Luckily, my payment was insured against fraud and other various mishaps. I should be able to get the payment back, plus any expenses incured as a result. Is that legal fee of $475 in addition to the $3475 that I already owe you? That would make a total of $3950. Let me know if your office has incurred any additional costs as a consequence of this matter and I'll add them to the claim.

I need to think about how to get the money back before thinking about gift cards. However, I'm fortunate in having the benefit of your advice.

Further to my conversation with Mr Jim Green I have initiated an investigation into your disputed money transfer of 14/9/24.

Please allow me to unreservedly apologize, on behalf of MoneyGram UK, for any error resulting in the loss of funds and consequent disruption to business for the intended recepient. MoneyGram UK values your custom and aims to provide all users of our service with the highest levels of trustworthiness to be found anywhere in the industry.

In this case, without any admission of liability, we are prepared to refund Mr Green the full amount of the disputed transfer, that is £2656.39 plus the transaction fee of £53.13, a total amount of £2709.52.

Further to that, for the embarrassment and inconvenience suffered, we would be pleased if the recipient Mrs Armor would accept an equal
sum of £2709.52 GBP by way of apology.

I understand that Mrs Armor has incurred legal expenses of $475. Adding this to the payment due to Mrs Armor brings her total to £3065.89.

Finally, since the £2656.39 transfer was originally intended for Mrs Armor, rather than ask Mr Green to repeat the transfer a second time, I could, on Mr Green's instruction, simply add his refund to the amount payable to Mrs Armor, bringing her total to £5722.78.

In summary, the monies payable would be

A transaction fee refund of £53.13 to Mr Green.
A total of £5722.78 to Mrs Armor.

Payment can be made either through the MoneyGram system or you may each give me a bank account.

With regards to a previous failed payment mentioned by Mr Green, some time in 2022. I'm afraid that too much time has elapsed for my office to take any further action.

To pass the case on to our payment officer, all I now need is a signed and witnessed statement from each of you, detailing the sequence of events leading to the claimed loss of funds. In the case of Mrs Armor, this must include a declaration that neither she or anyone acting on her behalf have collected the payment. Photographic copies of the same via email will suffice.

There is no need for confusion. The reason I'm contacting you is that Mr Green emphasised to me that he was trying to pay a sum of money to you pursuant to some business venture. Mr Butts was involved merely as your agent, his role being to collect the payment and then forward it on to you. In these circumstances, best practice is to reach settlement with the principle parties involved, those being Mr Green and yourself.

For that reason I will not be contacting Mr Butts, his involvement being irrelevant for the present purposes.

I also need to clarify that it is the sender, Mr Green, who raised this incident and I cannot take instructions from you as to how to proceed.

As matters stand, if you wish my office to process your payment, I need the amended copy of your statement as detailed in my previous mail.

The money was sent by money gram to my agent in California United States, and the said money was sent September 14 2024 at about 12:44 pm .

With was unable to processed till date , and later visited money gram office in California 2 hours drive from his house and was unable to pick up the money and he got back to me and I immediately contacted, my friend and business partner Mr Jim Green and he promised to go and buy all in vain till date .

Me and Jim have known for years now and will have been moving fine till this issue of money came that way not successful till date .
