I’ve received so many emails with the orphan-with-trunkbox scripts over the years that sometimes I get jaded with baiting such scammers… which is why I decided on a different path this time.
The scammer’s emails are date-stamped; his name has been changed. My comments are in bold.

As a matter of urgency i have been granted express delivery of your two consignment boxes by the United States Embassy here in Ghana in liaison with the Ghana Diplomatic Enclave , to move with two refugees who are the next of kin to these boxes to which you have been named beneficiary, for immediate delivery to you in your country.
This is very urgent as i must leave the Air-Port with the two boxes and the two refugee as soon as possible as this Delivery permit has an expiring date .
I have with me the Diplomatic Pounch issued from the US Embassy here in Ghana empowering me for this delivery to you and the Air-Port Clearance .

Therefore, i have been granted express delivery of the two ( 2 ) consignment boxes by the United States Embassy here in Ghana in liaison with the United Nations and Ghana Diplomatic Enclave , to move with the two refugees who are the next of kin to this boxes to which you have been named beneficiary to the United states to stay with a woman called Veronica Rivera .
This delivery expedition is very urgent and the only thing required of me here at the Kotoka International Air-Port Ghana is the "Consignment Content Approved Clearance Certificate " which is acquired at the official cost of US$680 ( Six Hundred and Eighty US Dollars ) only.

complaining for this long delay to get the boxes out.
