Hello Scambaiting Forum
Approximately three years ago a group of scambaiters who knew each other in a previous baiting life decided to come together and hang out their own shingle in the scambaiting world and ScambaitingForum was born. Over that time this forum membership has grown to almost 2300 strong. The leadership team of admins and moderators has tried to make this a welcoming, friendly, and enjoyable forum for experienced scambaiters, those that would like to try scambaiting, and those that are fans of scambaiting. As cliche as it may sound...a family atmosphere. Well in all families occasionally there is some strife and that has been evident in some of the recent changes to our forum. JustCold has decided it was time for him to retire from scambaiting and move onto the next chapter of his life. He was ready to pull the plug and make SF a thing of the past. He approached me last week and asked if I would be interested in taking the forum over. After many discussions and deliberation with both him and the current leadership team here at SF, I have decided to take SF over and assumed ownership this afternoon. Justcold is officially retired from SF I thank him for his efforts in starting and building this forum and wish him well.
There will be no major changes, it will be business as usual. The majority of the moderation team will remain and we will continue to be that welcoming and friendly forum you have all helped make possible.
OK for the elephant in the room. Scambait Central has been a fixture here since this forum's inception and has played a considerable role in growing this forum. Many of you are here because of SBC. Like you I was shocked to lean of his departure. I have been in contact with MR Pricky. I will not go into detail into the events that transpired over these past two weeks which resulted in SBC's departure from this forum. The proverbial olive branch has been extended and I hope to see SBC back providing scammer pain and amusement with us all here at Scambaiting Forum
