As I've mentioned before, 419 scammers frequently act in a bullying and arrogant manner, whether as a tactic to manipulate victims, a conscious effort to match an assumed persona, or just because they're naturally like that. Here's another example.
The scammer's name has been changed; his emails are date-stamped. My comments are in bold.

Hello
Greetings.
Please, I really need your urgent reply to this email.
My name is Jeremy Powell from Kenya in Africa.
I have a consignment box containing $3.2 Million United States Dollars which I sent to my beneficiary in your country since 14th July 2023.
But unfortunately my beneficiary was shot dead by his wife the same day my consignment arrived in your country because his wife accused him of having affair with a neighbor woman.
I want you to be my new beneficiary to receive my consignment on my behalf there in your country. I will inform the carrier agent there in your country to deliver my consignment to you at your doorstep.
Upon your willingness to receive my consignment there in your country, please send me the following: your address, name of airport, telephone number and copy of your identity card immediately.

That's going for the throat, so to speak.
I sent a standard reply.
Mr Powell
Before anything else; who gave you my email address?

Dear Mr. Malcolm Reynolds,
I saw your name and email address in my late father`s diary.
Please give me your address, name of airport and copy of your card.
Jeremy Powell
Bold move... I called him on it.
Mr Powell
I didn't know your father; hell, I don't know anyone from Kenya. I find your claim hard to accept.

Dear Mr. Malcolm,
The fact remains that I found your contact in my father`s diary.
Please sir, send me your information so that the carrier agent will proceed and deliver my consignment to you at your doorstep.
Jeremy
Mr Powell
What you're describing is impossible. You need to be honest if you want my help.
Malcolm Reynolds
The scammer promptly doubles down.

Sir Malcolm Reynold,
I am telling you the fact and being honest to what am telling you.
If my father had been alive, he would have personally explained himself better on how he knew you. I cannot explained further how your contact was found on my father`s diary because I have no knowledge of it.
My consignment is there in your country and all I need from you is your telephone number, address, and name of airport so that I willinform my carrier agent there, to deliver my consignment to you at
your doorstep.
I am anxiously waiting for your information sir.
Jeremy
I give a little ground. I can always take it back later!
Mr Powell
Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that I accept your story.
Now here's the thing; why are you so keen to give me this cashy money? You don't know anything about me, do you?
Malcolm Reynolds
10 August
Sir,
It will be better you accepted.
Because my consignment is in your country and it is only your contact I have in my father`s diary and i simpily have a feeling that i should contacted you as my new beneficiary and nothing more.
I will only know more about you when we keep communicating and you too will know me.
Jeremy
Mr Powell
Is that a fact? OK, so where is this consignment now? Which city? You're demanding that I give you my details; I think you owe me some details first.
Malcolm Reynolds

My consignment is in Sydney
My consignment is in Sydney
Sydney, huh? I checked Google for any case of a woman shooting her husband over an affair on any day in July. None at all. I'll save that for later.
Mr Powell
In that case, I need the contact for your agent. I want to meet him face to face. By the way, you keep saying "beneficiary". Why do you say that?
Malcolm Reynolds
The arrogance is strong with this one!
12 August
Hello Mr. Malcolm Reynolds,
Of course you will see him because he will deliver to you at your doorstep.
My agent will contact you after I receive your contact.
What would I say, if I did not say beneficiary? Correct me if there is any better word to use. You knew the meaning of the word beneficiary already. You are going to receive the consignment on my behalf.
Please, send me your telephone number, address, name of airport and identity card.

Mal ripostes... I don't think it will go down well.
Mr Powell
There is no point in your man delivering to me if I haven't accepted your demands, and I'll be clear; I don't like your attitude. You're clearly entitled and arrogant and expect to get your way without any question. My advice to you is grow up and learn that the world doesn't revolve around you.
Also, with regards to beneficiary; "a person who derives advantage from something, especially a trust, will, or life insurance policy". Nothing there about consignment boxes there, Bubba-Louie.
