welcome to the forum livefreearmy5Can you post a bait that you're currently running and need help with? Maybe give a general idea of what kind of assistance you're looking for? If people know what it's about someone might see an opportunity to join. Or maybe post some completed baits so we can get familiar with your style.

livefreearmy5, do not under any circumstances tell a scammer about the scambaiting community. A scammer is not likely to persuaded to stop scamming people, let alone join the other side, by someone who they have never met except on the internet as a potential mark. Have you read the rules and ethics page? This will help you to understand what we do and what we don't do as scambaiters.

livefreearmy5 scammers cannot be reformed and they will never stop scamming. We are not here to stop them. We are only here to waste a little of their time. While scammers are being baited, they are still scamming other real victims.

Livefreearmy5, I'd like to add my thoughts to what Linoline and Mildred Pierce wrote.
Leaving aside the ethics dimension, I'd advise strongly against trying to engage with scammers in an attempt to win them over in some way. It's fair to say that for most of them, scamming is a way of life that they either don't see as a crime in their own minds, or justify to themselves as getting what they see as their due. On occasions when a scammer has realised that his scheme has failed, some of them told my baiter personae that trying to scam me was a form of revenge for oppression by colonial masters.
Hearken to what "Emma Akpe", who claimed to be a Somalian refugee in Ghana, had to say when things didn't go right for him.
I want to show what i have achieved with the money i have got from this game I want to tell you that i am fucking rich and love my Africa so much that my brain can fetch me money from oversea without traveling there, since our leaders continue to be foolish and losing our natural resources to the western world for peanut, we will take our money back with any means available to we the youth.
I don't claim to be rich, i want to show you my worth, i believe in evidence Then you should ask America, China and Europe this same question for exploiting Africa for more than 100years now, so what is your take on that? 1. It was first oppression after they claim that is over now 2. They are using our bad leaders to milk the continent from her natural resources
YOU DIDN'T SEE THE OTHER PART OF THE EMAIL RIGHT, THAT IS WHY WE WILL KEEP ON SCAMMING IF YOU SHY AWAY FROM THE TRUTH, SO AFRICA RESOURCES.

Asking for help is a great idea. Please post your bait so far, the conversations you've had with the scammer and your ideas of where you want to go. You can do this in the main forum for ongoing baits. If people see what kind of bait you're doing and where you want to go, they can get a better idea of how they can assist. Co baiting can be a lot of fun.
Asking help for phishing or going after scammers to tell them about baiting however is not allowed on this forum. If you want to do that, please leave discussions about that outside of this forum. By burning scammers you educate them. Many are not aware of the concept of scambaiting. We try to waste the time and resources of scammers so they can spend less time and effort on real victims. If we inform them about scambaiting, what we do is make them better scammers, they will be aware of what baiting is and the practices we use. They will learn tactics to more effectively fool real victims. That is the last thing we want and that is why discussions about that or invitations to join those practices are not condoned here.
I'm locking this thread on my way out. If anyone needs help with an ongoing bait, please post the bait and some more information.
