This is an experiment in scambaiting. I wanted to try this with the next random scam troll that got me on Google Chat, and I wasn’t disappointed. I have two romance scammers on the hook and this would have been my third. This one got an “automated response,” which is still me but I have written a note on my Notes app that I can copy and paste, though I did screw up a little. It still did the job. The number is for Lenny the Chatbot. The website is a Grabify link. There will be baits like this in the future.
I think this scammer was intending to be a romance scammer but I didn’t give them a chance to get to the romance part.
