Dear Zazah
Not heard from you for a couple of days, is everything ok at your end?
I'm waiting for details of your officer in Turkey.
Apologies if your office is currently closed and I'm disturbing time
with your family over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Regards
Jim

Dear Mr.Jim,
Sorry for late reply .I have been busy with the officer in Turkey due to my inability to travel to Turkey in person at this stake.
According to him: He said you are free to come to Turkey so that he can handle the transfer process with you and make sure the Bank wire the fund to your UK account without any hitches.
Or If you can't travel to Turkey now, he will check the Cost of transfer Charges to above fund to be released, so you can pay it to enable them to wire the fund to your UK account.
Please let me know your final position
Thanks
Zazah

Dear Zazah,
Thank you for your reply.
In view of the previous difficulties we encountered, it will be much safer if I meet with your Turkey officer in person to make the payment in cash. I don't want to run the risk of my mail being interfered with again.
Obviously I need to know who your officer is. Please send me a copy of his ID card. Could you also confirm that he will meet me at the airport? Will payment in British Pounds be acceptable, or would you prefer me to bring Turkish LIra?
Here in the UK, today is a Bank Holiday, so all the banks are closed. Do your offices remain open 365 days a year?
Regards
Jim

Dear Jim,
Thanks. The officer is in charge of the Fund transfer to your UK account and he will pick you at the Airport down to the Hotel before Bank's action.
The COT charges will be paid in Pounds and the officer doesn't release his ID to me in order to checkmate identity thief. Please go ahead and confirm your ticket so i can fix with him
Thanks

Dear Zazah,
So you are asking me to fly to a country I've never been to before and hand over £5094 in cash to a person I don't recognize?
Please consider that for a moment. Does it sound reasonable? I will not be handing cash to anyone I don't recognize. I'm surprised you even suggest the idea. I need to see the ID of your officer before I get on any flight. Please get that sorted and I can move on to booking tickets and covid tests.
It's too late to get tickets now for this coming week. I also have to book a covid test within 24 hours of departure and a second one on return. I can't just get onto the next available flight.
You didn't answer my question about your office hours. Are you operational even weekends and holidays?
Regards
Jim

Attn:Mr.Jim,
You are talking as if you are flying to Turkey only to hand over the £5094 to an officer. The Security firm where the fund is deposited in Turkey have many workers/officers .It is against their policy to send the ID of their workers on Air, they assigned one of their officer who will hold BLANK CARD written your name on it, who will STAND at the Airport to pick you.
Once he pick you, he will move with you to the security firm where you will perform the signing documents and also proceed to the Turkey Bank to use the fund to open an account in your name to get the fund assimilated into the Banking system and also transfer the fund to your UK Account.
The payment of the COT will be paid in side their office where the process will be done. Turkey operates on Weekends.
Please go ahead and secure your covid test and ticket

Ok Zazah,
I guess that would do instead. Send me a picture of the officer who is coming to meet me holding up the card with my name on it. I still think a proper ID would be more secure but your suggestion of the card is a good one. I will agree to that. There could be no confusion as to who I'm due to meet up with.
