What I'd like to work toward would be a meeting with Mr Hobdi in person. Either here in the uk or when I eventually use my plane tickets. At a suitably public spot of course.

Do you think any intervening shenanigans involving hackers in my computer might make such a meetup more difficult to achieve? Or might they help motivate it?

Until then, my advice would be to try to frustrate the scammer as much as possible and "lose" as much money as possible

through various bank payments and MoneyGram. You can invent that secondary character (the Ghanaian hacker) who is always one step ahead of Hobdi and who (somehow inexplicably

) always has control over the computers. In such stories, it helps that another fake character (not yours, the main one) mocks the scammer... because it annoys him and motivates him more strongly.

Now I come to think of it, my computer has been acting a bit strangely of late. Started around the time I installed the viewer program for my Hot Beach Babes subscription. Never did get to see what those babes get up to. Plus, I'm still waiting to get my money back.

ok. I've found out what the problem is! I've just been back to the money gramme office and told them that you hadn't been able to collect the payment. They explained it all.

You are correct. You do need that ticket I sent you. When I sent the money I ticked the enhanced security box on the form. With enhanced security, the ticket has a phone number. The phone number is printed on the ticket. The woman at the office showed me one. It's in big numbers at the bottom. You phone that number to get another number and it's that second number you can use to collect the money.

I think it's actually easier than it sounds when I try to explain.

Please let me know when you have collected the payment. I'm keen to get this done.

Money gram doesn't require anybody to phone a number before any payment because it is a virtual payment. I am not new to Money gram, so you should go back to Money gram office, split the money into 2 places and re-send it.

Once it is done, you should provide the Reference /MTCN Numbers and security question if any

Why did you choose money gramme if you don't even know how that service works? I can understand it and I've never even used it before. You think you know better than the woman I spoke with? She works for Money Gramme! Maybe the extra secure tickbox is just a UK thing and that's why you are unfamiliar with it. Or are you just being lazy and can't be bothered to find out what the latest available options are in
UK branches?

If I have to go back there, it will be to cancel the payment. Is that even possible once I've sent it? If I end up being forced to do that, we will have to arrange some other method of payment.

You are the one who choose Money Gram not me. I gave you a Bank account to instruct the transfer, instead you gave an excuses that the transaction is Denied. How could the transfer be denied on a valid Bank account which has been using in Turkey.

There is No other payment option again, either you send it via given Bank account OR you go back to the Money gram ,cancel the payment and split the money into 2 places (3000 and 2950 euro) resend it to the given name.

Note that money gram doesn't require any phone call, so provide me with the Reference Number to pick it

Glad to see that you've got your keyboard fixed. I did mean to say that if you find another keyboard with the same type of plug you can just swap them over and it usually works. Just saying, in case you get the problem again. Not sure if that works with laptops though.

Have you moved your offices from Greece to Turkey? I can still use my replacement tickets, but those are to Athens. I don't know if I could simply choose to go to Turkey instead. Probably not allowed.

Anyway, I can't just travel to Turkey at the drop of a cat. I have to check in with my probation officer, once a month, for one thing. Plus I have my surgery coming up. Not sure when, Feburary maybe. I already wasted a lot of time getting ready to go to Greece. Why should I be the one to travel? When are you coming to the UK?
